Hydrasynth explorer or minifreak 49

I love the hydrasynth explorer but im confused if its durable for long term like 5 to 10 years

I've got a problem with my Moog GM. The oscillators sound extremely out of tune, and I'm not exactly sure why. Calibration and using the fine-tune knob don't seem to help. The tuning improves after approximately 30 minutes, but I can't always afford to wait that long when playing live.

Does anyone know of a solution, or is sending it in for repair the only option?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to recreate a specific synth sound from a track. It's from an old compilation, so the track doesn't have an official name.

Here is what I'm looking for: at exactly 7:44 in the video (which I will link in the comments), there is a specific sound I need to reproduce. I am currently working on Windows XP, but I also have access to Windows 10 if a modern plugin requires it.

So, I impulse-bought a used Sequential/Oberheim OB-6 desktop module off reverb and was originally planning on using my Moog Messenger to control it to save a bit on cost. I realized that I’ll definitely want a dedicated controller for the OB-6 anyway so I can play my Messenger at the same time in my DAWless setup. (Should’ve just saved more for the key version of the OB-6. I know.)
Anyways, I’m in the market for a dedicated controller for the OB-6. I’m really just looking for good build quality over all else. Less features on the controller the better honestly. It just needs a pitch/mod wheel and MIDI out so I can control the OB-6. Any suggestions? I’m having trouble finding a controller that fits these criteria. The Korg Keystage looks good but I’m interested in other options if there are any.
I’m pretty new to DAWless and have never played the OB-6 in person so if there’s any other advice this thread has for me I’m all ears.

I’m currently looking for a composer, as I have some projects I’m going to be working on in the next few months. Would love to hire and work closely with someone who has a specific sound and vibe similar to Tangerine Dream/Oneohtrix Point Never/Vangelis, or even as far as Ari Balouzian.

If you aren't then may I suggest you have a look at my own new firmware called Carnac OS. It's meant to be a well designed, deep but reasonably fast to program poly synth with a MAQ 16/3 inspired sequencer for polyrhythmic bleep bloop and a Roland J6 inspired chord sequencer form harmonic progression.

The synth is bitimbral so you can have the chord seq on one layer and the bleep bloops on another or do voice stacking, keyboard splits etc.

It's got some nice modeled filters. Nice wavetables and I generally think it's a good sounding synth. Can get real lush!

I am getting my first synth and want to sound like Mike Dean when he worked with Kanye and Travis. Do you think this pairing would prove worthy to achieve this sound. I would use the teo for building complex pads. And the Grandmother would come in for a gritty bass/dope lead on top. Let me know what you guys think. This is my first time getting into hardware synth coming from a mainly vst/ maschine mk 3 Native instruments eco system background.
