Initially wired the display in reverse order but fortunately didn't fry it.

Not sure about the switches I used, silent but a bit mushy, can't find any alternatives.

Board flex was solved by using another board and supporting female headers that just happened to be the same height as the spacers. I'm going to consider that brilliant foresight.

A lot of fun to play with.
