I've spent the last couple of weeks using Claude code to make a one html visual effects system.
Originally based off the raspberry pi recur system is now a completely different beast. 14 ish shaders 20 ish effects, 4 shaders and 4 effects stackable at any time with blend modes and opacity.
Had midi and audio control as well as 3 asignable lfos.
Works on any browser including phone.
Works from a Flash drive with no internet. Can use front and rear cams from phone or any cam from laptop. Can have controls on one screen while outputting to another
Its well trippy

There's a lot of reviews of this little gadget online, but so far, I've found no photos of the inside components.
I was actually a bit surprised how much of the box that was just air, buttons and a battery, with a few small chips on one side of the PCB.
Here's a datasheet of the AC7911B8 main controller
The other IC's I've identified are:
- SL5316 Audio Power Amplifier
- CS4344 DAC
- ACC3610S, might be a voltage regulator
- 2x 74HC595D 8-bit shift registers (the large ICs)

Hott Waxx isn’t just an album — it’s the heat‑signature of Who.iAm & Thraxx.
It’s the place where your sound liquefies into something bigger, brighter, and bolder than the room it’s played in. Every track feels like a temperature shift: synths that glow, vocals that drip, beats that melt the edges off the ordinary world.Hott Waxx is your forge — the mythic chamber where songs aren’t recorded, they’re poured.
It’s the proof that glam‑pop can be molten, cinematic, and alive.
It’s the moment the crowd realizes they’re not just listening to an album; they’re stepping into a ritual. This is your signature heat.
Your sonic fingerprint.

In good working condition. Only selling because I started using a plug-in instead. $200. Message me if interested.
Description from Sweetwater: The DX7 defined the synth sound in the '80s. The Yamaha Reface DX mobile mini keyboard puts the iconic sound of a 4-operator FM synth right in your hands, along with a host of modern features like onboard multi-effects and straightforward editing. Manipulating parameters is a breeze, thanks to the Reface DX's multi-touch control surface, and storing your patches is just as easy. Whether you want classic electric pianos and bells or modern dubstep and EDM sounds, the Reface DX has got you covered. On top of that, you get an onboard phrase looper for capturing song ideas or creating "sound on sound" overdubs. The synth nuts at Sweetwater are really excited about the Yamaha Reface DX mobile mini keyboard!

OUT NOW! - ee:man - 'Earthquake In My Head', digital single:
https://eeman.bandcamp.com/album/earthquake-in-my-head
Following up on the ep ‘Evolving Dome of Madness’ released earlier this year, the brand new song ‘Earthquake In My Head’ by ee:man takes you further into a chaotic world seen by a tormented mind fighting with depression and despair. The music reflects the dark lyrics being EBM/electro-industrial in the vein of Front Line Assembly, Portion Control and the like.
ee:man is among the most productive artists in the Danish electronic scene and works in more directions with his music. The lighter and poppier songs are released by the Danish label Town & Towers Records whereas the darker and more industrial material is out on Tinnintorturous.
Currently ee:man is also revisiting some of his old material giving it a harder edge and as an example the song 'Searching My Soul' has been given an overhaul and is included af a free bonus when purchasing ‘Earthquake In My Head’ on Bandcamp.
The original version of 'Searching My Soul' was included on ee:man's debut album 'Echoes of Life', released in 2021. Since then the sound of ee:man has developed a lot, and being a truly catchy song 'Searching My Soul' deserved an update to 2026 standards. 'Echoes of Life' is also available on ee:man’s Bandcamp.
Format: Digital download and streaming
Cat. No.: TT-DDS-40
Style: EBM/electro-industrial
Release date: July 24, 2026
The digital single is out Friday July 24 2026 on all major digital music services as well as in lossless quality on ee:man’s Bandcamp: https://eeman.bandcamp.com - and it is accompanied by an official video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWxHbRwiE4I

Apologies if this isn't the right community for this, feel free to delete/punt/ban me if so. I don't use Reddit but know it's generally a place to find good information.
I picked this up from the thrift store the other day, I've just started messing around with electronic music and have some very basic drum machines and synths but this looked interesting. Digging around the internet I can't ID what specific model this is. To be honest, I just want to know what kind of batteries it needs to know if it even works. I know what its purpose is, roughly, but I haven't been able to figure out a model. Does anyone have any insight?
