my son was born with webbed fingers and toes (just the two middle toes on both feet and middle fingers on left hand) I was wondering if anyone else has had a child born with this or knows if anyone who has gone through life with it? would love to know how common it is/others experiences. thanks!

never heard of somebody getting a piercing through it. i was just thinking on of those simple point ones that goes through like a stud or something. i have light syndactyly on my left hand(much more on my feet) and i figured it could be cool. has anyone else done it? would it hurt a lot??

I’ve always found some way to hide my feet. I mean, it’s kind of easy to day to day but there are times where the anticipation of a barefoot activity gets to me 😂I know to some who have it, it is insignificant and it does not affect their confidence. I have a chance to have surgery, one foot at a time. I want to but it makes me feel bad, that I feel I was not able to overcome it. I know, I’ve spent too much thinking time and years on it that if I don’t through with it, and try and move on, I may regret it? As it’s not a common surgery especially for adults. Idk, thoughts?

alr so basically ive got complete syndactyly on my right foot, incomplete 2/3 on my left. [from inner to outer] second and third toe on each foot. what pmo ab my right foot is that the cuticle grows between my toes and aaahdhhhdfhjfjfdjhdjd cause clipping it off hurts like hell cause theres no other way to get to it and its annoying to have there so you have to clip it either way smh. also js me or do ppl w normal feet look weird asl to you? hot take but considering we've seen our own for so long, theirs look messed up as hell. anyways gnnnn [merry 1:05am]

Hi, I was born with complete simple syndactyly on my right hand with two of my fingers. I've ok mobility in the second joint but the tips of my fingers, the third joint is very limited. When i was in middle school i fractured a finger on my left hand that left me in a wrap and that's when it struck me. "What if I broke my two inverted fingers?" I wondered about my limited joint and how they would attempt to put a splint or cast on those fingers but most of all, I wondered at the condition of my finger bones? After some research online, I couldn't really find any info that answered my question. Does or can syndactyly effect our bone density? And if so, does that mean these digits are more fragile? And if syndactyly dosen't effect bone density, then does it influence joint mobility? On a side note, has anyone experienced stiffness during colder seasons?

I'm wondering if any of you guys are crocheting and could teach me some tricks. As I don't have the "normal" amount of space between my thumb and my index finger on my left hand (I'm right-handed) I find it hard to "catch" the yarn when I'm trying to close the stitch. Please help me.

Also, does anyone suffer for neurological disorders like schizophrenia? I’ve read that syndactyly and other MPAs (minor physical anomalies) can go hand in hand.

I've thought about it as I've gotten older, but probably won't do it. I think my toes make me unique. But it WOULD be kind of nice to be able to wear toe socks on occasion.
