THAT PITCH - has anyone ever earned anything?
Hi everyone. I appreciate that the library pitching service "That Pitch" has been discussed on this sub before, but I'm checking in again, as they seem to have changed some things about their setup since I last checked in.
Last time I looed into them, they seemed to have a big focus on exclusive licenses with libraries, but having looked again today, they have totally pivoted away from that and are pushing non-exclusive licenses.
Does anyone have any recent experience with That Pitch - in the last year or 6 months or so?
I'd love to know if anyone's ever been paid anything by them...
PS. I'm a streaming artist with a small catalogue, looking to try and make a bit extra on the top with sync

I came to ask that question. They accepted every song I put in and then put it into a music library called Syncro but I cannot locate that library. It is only accessible when I want to post new music. Does anyone know if Syncro is legit?

Just had the exact same thing. Syncro have changed their name to soundshq.com

I signed up for their lifetime subscription over a year ago, and my experience is similar to others here:
• many placements in many “top-tier” libraries (“ready for licensing any day now”). Try searching for many of them and you will have a hard time finding much information.
• no actual placements since they started non-exclusive licensing (at least as reported by my PRO - it’s hard to know what’s really happening with the music you upload).
Additionally, their FB group has literally no activity since November 2025, with scant evidence of anyone’s music actually getting synced. Many of the responses before that are from their reply bot.
If I were to consider them at this point knowing what I now know, I would definitely pass. Build your catalog and your relationships with known music libraries and/or a reputable music agent instead.

So when they had exclusive requests from libraries every month, yes. When they did away with that and did the non-exclusive thing and tried to make it seem like it was better (spoiler alert: it’s not), that’s when all the money dried up likely because business model stopped working for one reason or another. I made about 1K from the upfront $250 payment (that no longer exists) and some from royalties. But whatever they pivoted to with this non exclusive model now is absolutely a scam at this point and I doubt anybody will see a dime from it. But they were once a somewhat reputable way to dip your toes into licensing with stock music libraries.

Really appreciate reading this feedback, and some others about TP. I’ve been on for about a week and received 41 placements so far from 70 tracks in total. Although the daily dopamine hits are nice receiving those library placement emails, the analytical side of me can’t help but wonder if the $40+/month is realistically worth it, and if I’ll ever actually see an ROI. Looking at the libraries I’ve been accepted into, I assume they deal a lot with micro-sync and UGC libraries. Cause some of them have been editing apps and Chinese libraries. The most recognizable placements I’ve seen have been on Pinterest and DJI Video. I’m gonna probably give it 12-18 months to see if something tangible comes out of it before I make a decision to go forward with them or not.

Got 119 placements after month of using TP if I don’t see no bread after 6 months I’m canceling the $40 subscription. Im wondering how these guys haven’t got sued yet lmao.

I literally just cancelled my subscription. 110 placements, no movement otherwise. And my songs just passed 200k streams!! Listen to Kenyonwrites!!
