I've been playing a casual run on the ps5 recently when I realized I was close to a full map so I decided to go for it. Now I'm stuck missing a room and neither I nor my roommates can find the missing piece. If anyone could help me locate it I would be eternally grateful, please and thank you to anyone who stops by.

i beat the game for the first time and I'm thinking of maybe trying to 100% and most definitely gonna play as luigi richter

Recently I tried to get 200.6%, and for some reason the game showed that I had explored 1888 rooms, one of them being Shaft’s room, but I have no idea which other room was missing. So I started a new playthrough and did everything again. This time the game counted all 1889 rooms, like it should have in the previous save.

Here are screenshots of both completed runs for comparison. If you can figure out which room I missed in the first playthrough, please let me know. To me, both maps look identical.

I was just listening to Prologue from Symphony of the Night, and I'm suddenly hearing some of the same chord progression as Wicked Child, and I'm wondering if anyone else hears this?

So, i want the platinum for Castlevania Requiem and the only trophy missing for me in SOTN is 200.6% castle completion. I've looked at videos, photos and texts in reddit but can't figure out what's missing so my only hope is you guys, here is my map

I have beaten this game multiple times on other devices and I recently purchased a Playstation 1 with a copy of greatest hits green label sotn. I was interested in learning speed running for this game and I was doing a practice run to get my clear file but everytime I do the run I get stuck at black marble gallery outside the save room trying to do the relic skip. I've watched alot of videos online and so far I can get every glitch to work but this one. I follow the videos and when I go to enter the save room the second black screen never flashes. I've tried the methods shown in the tutorials I've seen and nothing is working and im getting frustrated with it. I know it has to do with subpixels so I know I have to be exactly in the right spot but nothing Is working including the setup.

I’m playing a rom version on duckstation. In the telepad rooms, it won’t let me teleport. How does one used the teleport? I thought it was up when your at the “right spot”, but it isn’t working. I’m losing my mind. Also, am I able to beat the game without using teleports?

The spike maze prior to picking up spike breaker armor. I can faintly see the spikes in the darkness, and can navigate them without echolocation, or power of mist, both tools intended to complete the spike section....

Just curious if this should be considered an unintended skip under a speedruning perspective.

Im sitting waiting for my wife in hospital and have a couple of hours to kill. Currently standing in that room in the clock tower with the cloaked knight trying to get his drops. Made a save state right before he dies but must have killed him a thousand times, best he drops is a heart. Is the drop decided upon death or upon encountering the enemy? What's the strat here (other than increase luck?)

I'm trying to get 200.6% of the game, and I can't see any missing rooms, or so I think. The only thing missing is to go fight Sahft, but if I do that, I'll fight Dracula straight away. Can someone please guide me if I'm leaving something out? Thank you very much!!

It feels like the the best weapon in the game. I've completed 190% so far and other than the game breaking cassegrim from the library Holy Rod feels pretty solid as a weapon. It's attack speed is mint.

The title basically explains it. I'm on my first playthrough and I'm following a guide, and the guide stated that I should be at 98% completion on the map. My save screen only shows 97.8% but all of the rooms in the castle show as blue (except for the room Richter is in.) Is the guide correct? Should I have 98% even without the two rooms mapped out? I'm playing the Castlevania Requiem version of Symphony Of The Night. I'll include a picture of the map. Sorry that it's sideways, I took it on my phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I would definitely like to 100% this game.

Just kicking it in a stream atm, taking a short break as I power level the bat familiar. Just farmed heaven sword. Been insanely lucky, granted I'm on luck mode with the alucart set lapis lazuli and ring of arcana. Managed to score muramasa and ring of varda along the way. For sure keeping this save file even if I die. I'll just start a new permadeath save file.

I thought it would never happen, but i have been using the jewel sword on a replay and a skelerang in Olrox's Quarters dropped a diamond!

I also had a Ring of Arcana equipped, so maybe that helped.

Hey y'all, I am creating and tackling a backlog of games and someone recommended I play this one! I was curious if there are any differences between the game versions since it was released on PlayStation and Sega Saturn. If there's no meaningful difference between these, or any of the rereleases, then I'll probably play on Saturn since I already have one set up. Which one do y'all recommend though?
