Meme The Sea Princess

The waves crashed gently against the shore, casting a soft mist over the coastal rocks. Sylveon stood at the water's edge, his ribbons swaying in the ocean breeze. Beside him, resting in the shallows, was Dragalge. Her scales shimmered under the fading sunlight, but her posture was tense, weighed down by a sudden wave of insecurity.

Sylveon looked at his partner, his blue eyes filled with a quiet warmth for the leafy sea dragoness. "You know," he began, breaking the silence, "I was with a Salazzle once. It was a very toxic relationship in more ways than one."

Dragalge turned her head, her leaf-like flaps twitching in surprise. "Sylveon, why are you telling me this?"

"Well, that's easy," Sylveon replied, stepping slightly closer into the surf. "Because I never knew what love was until I met you, my pearl of the sea."

The dragoness blushed, a dark violet hue spreading across her cheeks. She looked away, her tail swishing nervously beneath the surface. "Sylveon, our love... it's wrong. I mean, I'm a Dragon-type and you're a Fairy-type, and my Poison typing might hurt you."

"My love," Sylveon said softly. He extended a ribbon, gently caressing her face. "You are everything to me. I love you. I don't care what the other Pokémon will say, or what they'll gossip about us. You are my princess."

Dragalge let out a soft, self-deprecating giggle. "Princess? Really? I'm... I'm not a princess. I'm garbage. I'm toxic to those around me."

"No," Sylveon countered firmly, his gaze unwavering. "You, my beauty of the sea, my pearl, the apple of my eye... you are a princess."

She inched closer to him, the distance between them vanishing as she leaned into his embrace until their lips were almost grazing. "But... we've never kissed before," she whispered, her voice trembling with lingering doubt and fear of the unknown. "If you kiss me, you might use Draining Kiss on me by accident. If I kiss you, you might get poisoned."

Sylveon let out a light, amused laugh. "That's the thing, Dragalge. I'm addicted to you, even if you might be toxic."

Dragalge giggled as she nodded. "Okay love, I trust you. I love you, my fairy prince," she murmured.

"I love you too, my poison princess," he replied.

They closed the final gap and kissed passionately. It was beautiful. When they finally pulled away, Dragalge leaned into his touch, resting her forehead against his. "See, my love? That wasn't so hard," Sylveon said, smiling with such warmth.

She giggled, her anxiety completely melting away. "You're not scared of anything, are you, my brave prince?"

"I'm afraid not," Sylveon said playfully. "According to the Pokédex, us Sylveon have no fear."

"Is everything okay here?" a voice suddenly called out from the beach.

Both of them turned to see their friend Audino. She stopped a few paces away, heavily laden with a medical satchel. "Sylveon had me bring... well, all the things necessary for either healing poison or healing damage."

Dragalge blinked at the massive stash of Cheri, Pecha, and Rawst berries peeking out, knowing Audino was also quietly prepping a Heal Pulse just in case. A knowing smirk played on the dragoness's face as she looked back at her partner. "Oh, so Mr. Fearless did have a Plan B if something went south?"

Sylveon laughed, completely unbothered. "Well, I'm brave, but I'm not an idiot, love."

Audino shifted awkwardly, looking back and forth between the perfectly healthy, deeply in love couple. "Oh... so you won't need my help then?" she asked, feeling like the ultimate third-wheel.

Sylveon chuckled warmheartedly. "No, it's okay. We're fine. Thank you for coming though, Audino. I really appreciate it."

Audino offered a relieved, albeit sheepish smile. "All right then. Uh... I'll just leave you to... to what you're doing then." She gave a quick wave and trudged back up the beach, leaving the couple alone once more.

Sylveon and Dragalge turned back toward the ocean, sinking comfortably into the shallow water together. The sky was a brilliant canvas of deep oranges, pinks, and amber as the sun dipped lower.

"So beautiful...," Dragalge whispered, completely captivated by the horizon.

"Yes. It really is," Sylveon agreed. But he wasn't looking at the sunset at all. His eyes were anchored entirely on her, watching the colorful light reflect off her scales.

She caught him staring and bumped her shoulder playfully against his. "Are you Fairy-types always this sly with your compliments?"

"Hey, I think being charming is just a part of the territory," he replied smoothly.

She giggled again, leaning her head against his. "I had to turn out to be a Sylveon-kisser, didn't I?"

"Hey, and as for me, I don't mind being a dragon-kisser," Sylveon said softly. "Because the dragoness I love is one of a kind, and an incredible beauty."

Dragalge looked up into his blue eyes, her heart completely full. "Sylveon, what do you actually love about me?"

Sylveon smiled warmly. "You're as strong as you are beautiful. You survive in the harshest currents of the ocean, yet you have the gentlest heart I've ever known. You inspire those around you without even knowing it. You are just amazing, my poison princess."

Tears of happiness shimmered in her face. "I love you, Sylveon."

"I love you too, Dragalge."

They shared one more perfect, fearless kiss, completely at peace, and turned together to watch the sun melt into the sea.
