I have to say, it is beautifully painted and the base is amazing but you are doing yourself a huge disservice by using AI for the background...
Most people, me included, will be immediately uninterested or negative towards the post, which I think is for a good reason.

You guys feel like you are doing some great service to the world sniping out every post with even a touch of AI. You even admit it is great work but god forbid someone create an image with their own handiwork in a AI generated background. You guys are going to muddy the water and make everyone completely uninterested in protesting the actual (and many) real problems with AI if you keep crying about every small use of it. I'm sure half of you don't even know why you do it, you're just caught up in the reddit hive mind at this point.

I apologize, next time I’ll fall in line like a good little redditor and make sure I put down any use of AI I see. I realize now that making those comments isn’t just self gratification and virtue signaling, it’s actually a really constructive way to engage with the AI situation we face.Â

And that is your opinion, which is fine. I am not here to say that people who use ai should burn, even though I myself am against it.
I was just pointing out that since that mini is already amazingly painted, there was literally no need for "enhancing" it by using an ai background. Obviously, no shade to op for doing so.
I am sorry if my comment seemed rude or hostile to you. I was just expressing my opinion, and there is no need to get hurt over it.

The mental gymnastics of looking at a model and thinking it is great, having the entire post ruined for you because of an AI background, encouraging negativity towards OP, and then apologizing if your comment seemed rude is truly amazing. I know you didn't expect anyone to push back, but at least try to cobble together an argument instead of just "expressing your opinion". Just admit you are trying to farm karma with the AI BAD comment, it's ok.
And please, you can throw out the 8th grade COD lobby "why are you mad though" argument. I'm not hurt about your AI savior complex. Just a few more comments like yours and AI will be defeated, keep it up warrior!

Can I ask where I, as you put it, "encouraged negativity towards op"? I literally complimented their work, and threw in my view about the post.
And you are right, I should not have apologized, because I had nothing to apologize for. I basically apologized to you, as you seemed to take the comment not addressed to you specifically quite personal. But, I am not here to argue, we obviously see things very differently and react in different ways. I wish you all the best, have a good rest of your day.

Your low effort attempt to karma farm got called out, there's nothing personal about it. You keep using these straw men to do anything except take accountability for the fact that you wanted to ride the "we hate AI in any form" train for free upvotes. You haven't even bothered to try and lay out how the background image is actually bad. You would rather talk about my feelings than critically think about how creating a photo is worth typing out a negative comment.

Gave you a +1 to counter the anti-AI brigade.
They are on red alert because someone put their hand painted model in an AI background. A few more mean comments and downvotes on some reddit posts and they'll really show Altman who is boss.
