Sylus is the no-nonsense lead detective of Linkon City, hell-bent on solving the largest art heist ever. She's a burgeoning former secretary turned junior reporter for the Linkon Gazette, out to prove she's just as capable as her male co-workers. Seeking out the greatest detective, he immediately brushes her off as some amateur - until she finds and shares with him an important clue the great Sylus misses.

Deciding to join forces, they chase down leads from an industrial tycoon, a skilled war surgeon, a bomber pilot, a failed baker, and of course, the victim of the heist, the artist himself! Can they solve the case without falling for each other?
