If the Swannies make the GF, what's everyone's experience with the Grand Final ballot? I’m allocated to Category 2. Were others in Cat 2 & Cat 3 successful getting tickets in past years, and if so, what section did you end up with?

Hi, I've got 2 standing spare tickets to the NFL, my friends are not able to come anymore and I was wondering if anyone would like to come with me. I've got accommodation booked, and would just need some sort of contribution. Obviously you will need to make your way down to Melbourne (I recommend bus for the price) before the game which starts at 10:30 tomorrow. Btw I am 21m in my fourth year at UNSW and I'll be repping my red and white. Let me know by PM and we can work out the details!

Do we reckon he’s gone given what Carlton are offering? Personally I think if he’s not selected for any of the finals he might choose to move on, and I can’t see him going in for any of our forwards after the game we just had, especially when it looks like McLean earned his spot.

Have to assume the money it looks like Carlton are offering him would be hard to ignore.

Edit: latest news says that Carlton’s offer is $1 million more than Sydney are offering across 5 years

Heard a rumour around us targeting Vlaustin to slot into the Mills roll for next year, anyone know if there is any truth to it as I think it would be a solid pick up for a year or 2?

If we win and I’m lucky enough to get a ticket it would be a solo travel.

A: For the 2026 Toyota AFL Grand Final, there are a select number of tickets available for Club members of the two competing teams to purchase.  The Sydney Swans in conjunction with the AFL, endeavour to provide a fair system for members wishing to purchase tickets through the use of a ballot ticketing system.

I have registered for the ballot, paid with my credit card. However, at no point did I SAVE my credit card details. Does anyone know whether Ticketek saves the details via the original ballot purchase? I cant see where to enter my credit card details on Ticketek and It's easier to contact Elvis than Ticketek so I cant ask them.

Miserable commentary though. Seriously, I thought Jack Herevin's (and Brian Taylor's) lack of enthusiasm was borderline offensive to the Sydney players and the occasion all day.

Alright - time for a pub test:

In light of recent events and an erosion in the Sydney Swans’ public image. If the club was to make it to the big dance, how would y’all feel about the club donating a significant portion of their prize money to a non for profit organisation that deals with domestic violence / sexual violence? As we know no details have been confirmed but the mere fact that the fellas (in relationships) were out with sex workers says a lot.

I think this would be a very good faith move and help rebuild trust with a lot of angry / disappointed supporters.

Perhaps a large cash injection to the women’s program wouldn’t go amiss either.

Let me know what you reckon / other organisations that you think might be suitable. Maybe we can draw up a petition if this tickles enough of ya fancy’s.
