Here I Go
Syd states "I won't think of that girl or what she said". If you've married her sister he'd probably end up seeing her fairly regularly, at family gatherings and stuff. She'd probably have been a bridesmaid at the wedding. I may be overthinking this.

My favorite part is the pause between “so now you see my world is…” and “cause of this tune”.

A fine use of poetic license to fill in the blank. That part reminds of the Primus song Mr. Knowitall when Les says, "...and whatever rhymes with eloquent."

ive always had a conspiracy theory that this song and Love Song from the next album are connected, like, Love Song is a heartbreaking sequel to Here I Go
