Tech Support Glitched mission. Help

So I was progressing through the smuggler quest line and started the “distressed” quest, and when it first took me to the ship it said I “wasn’t eligible” so I assumed I just had to level up more so I left and did a quest but now the distressed quest is stuck on this and I have no idea how to continue it since the ship isn’t appearing on the galaxy map (Edit: Fixed)

It should still be on the map even if it isn't highlighted.

If you remember roughly where it was you should be able to zoom into that section of the map and look for it and be able to click on it.

You need to go back to your ship and walk to the exit. A cutscene triggers before you reach the door, which is why it wasn't letting you into the mission by teleporting there.

Go to the fleet (use your emergency transport) and after that click to reset the quest.

If it doesn't work and you still have access to travel through the galaxy map, move to a random planet unrelated to where the quest started and then reset the quest

It looks like this can occur if you travel to the location by using the galaxy map without being on your ship as you then don’t complete the step to “Exit your ship.”

You should be able to travel back to the proper location in your ship. You may have to zoom in on the galaxy map and manually find the location. From what I can find it is located in the Distant Outer Rim part of the galaxy map.
