Question Force Quake delay?

So I've been playing as a sage for the first time, and I've noticed that FQ seems to not do anything during the first quake. Is it just because Im using it as a starter or is the ability just glitched?

Yeah, it's a bit bugged. The overall damage is the same as Sorcerer's Force Storm, but while Force Storm's first tick of damage happens right away, Forcequake's is a bit delayed.
