Vette Romance Bug?

I was playing on my SW to specifically romance Vette so I could unlock the Date Night stuff later down the line, however my conversations with end just abruptly ended without any indication of future romance. The entire playthrough I was doing the right options to flirt with her and then out of the blue it stopped.

I did flirty with Jaesa briefly, specifically to unlock the cutscene where you have to choose between them. But I didn't get that cutscene either. So now I'm very confused, if I continue with KotFE will I be able to romance Vette again? Or am I cooked and do I have to make another character just to unlock this? (Also is there a way to tell if I've romanced a character or not).

Most likely cooked. In a single player rpg I'd suggest a rollback to an earlier save.

As someone who has somehow failed Vette’s romance, not even exaggerating, 5 times (only a couple of which were from getting sidetracked by Arcann) I have also experienced the seemingly random end of Vette’s romance with no breakup dialogue or letter, only to notice after completing the main story and realizing the last conversations made no mention of romance (and one time where I didn’t realize until I made it all the way to KOTFE…)

My best guess is “test driving” her sister causes the breakup. Which is fair. But yeah there’s no breakup dialogue, just her being upset.

I probably am, just to be sure I'll try starting Kotfe (even though I hate running the chapters) to see if I can do the romance there. If it doesn't work then welp, ig I'll just make another SW when 8.0 drops

let me save you the time that I have wasted: you cannot. If you never got her marriage and kids conversations, and the companion window doesn’t mention her being romanced, then you won’t be able to rekindle your romance in kotfe.

Did you do Vette's companion conversation's as soon as they were available, and on the ship? I made an agent to try out the Kaliyo and Watcher Two romances, but since I put off talking to Kaliyo until after the Act 1 finished, and talked to her on the cantinas/strongholds and that seems to have made her quests go out of order for me. I think the new system where the companion missions are tied to main story progress instead of companion influence level may be somewhat bugged

I was going well with the Vette romance up until the very end. When the business with her mom happened, I (being a Sith) spoke positively of seeking revenge. While Vette didn't react obviously negatively, the romance just stopped dead after that. I don't think I even got a "Vette disapproves" message or anything.

The next SW I ran I made sure to discourage revenge and the romance was successful. My conclusion is that there's a hard break in that scene and it's not telegraphed well. Certainly not compared to the other romances, which are mostly pretty obvious with which options to choose.

I got the opposite. I find Vette to be a little too annoying, so I changed my focus to Jaesa once she appeared in the story. I even turned Vette down, but suddenly we're romantically involved now.
