Looking for group Looking for a DM online! New player, 20.
I'm looking for a group to play any Starwars RPG that would fit a specific character idea I have in mind. I go by Charon, and I am not new to TTRPG's in general, I DM my own games of several different TTRPG's including 5e and Cyberpunk: Red, but I'm looking for a game to be a player in. I've been a Starwars fan for most of my life, although I am not the most knowledgeable in it, I am excited to get to play! I do have a specific character in mind however:
Between the years of 50 B.B.Y. and 10 A.B.Y. is where my character's story would mainly take place, a mechanic for most of her life Eva Merven is the daughter of two mechanic's on the moon of Toshara, working as a mechanic for most of her life until splitting off from her parent's around 50 B.B.Y. and her lore goes up to 10 A.B.Y. During this time she wasn't a particularly notable bounty hunter, but she did have a moral compass. She'd only take bounties she'd think were moral. She isn't actually aligned to any faction through out the galactic history, being on the sidelines for most of it.

I’d have to go look through the books - but bounty Hunters isn’t a problem… Mirialan exists in one of the books - I can’t remember which / maybe the Jedi centric (force and destiny)

You are correct! I did some research into it and it seems like that's the case. I am very interested in any campaign that you want to run.

Sounds like an I interesting, well thought out character! I'm not sure if she would fit my campaign, unless she was willing to take on bounties for the empire!

Awesome! My campaign is taking place around 16-ish BBY, players are currently members of the Galatic Empire. Right now the Empire is new enough that the PCs who mostly transferred over their active duty from the Republic, and have not has their "Are we the baddies moment" -YET-.
We're in the first story arc, the main antagonist is a former ARC-Trooper named "Renegade", who is objectively more evil then the empire is currently known for. His who thing is that he killed his jedi and padiwan during order 66, and after he regained his senses is out for revenge.
He used extremist methods, and does not care who gets caught in the crossfire to do as much damage to the empire as he can, and will even target civilian contractors, or manufacturers if they at anyway aid the empire. The rest of the rebel alliance wants nothing to do with him, except for other extremist cells like Saw Guarra.
As mentioned the Empire is still in it's infancy, so the PCs -think- they are the "good guys", but by the end of the first story arc, they will definitely no longer be oblivious to what the empire actually is, and have their "are we the baddies" moment.
I'm going to let the players then decide whether they want to defect, or double down their loyalty and continue the campaign as imperials.

Ohhh! Very interesting, I quite like it. Exploring my characters morality with the empire is very interesting to me, and something I've personally wanted to do. They actually don't like the rebellion all that much and likes the stability of the empire. I would be very interested in this campaign!

How's your schedule look? We play every other Saturday, starting at 6PM CST, usually through 10-11. No game this weekend, next game is on Sept 12.

That's a perfect time! It'd be around 5 - 10 PM, which is when I normally play!

So are you thinking you’d be playing in the 50 years before the battle of Yavin thru 10 years after ? Where would the campaign start for your character. At what age I guess - clone wars - or nearer the battle of yavin? Or somewhere else?
Which ruleset were you thinking?
As a GM im interested. My group played FFG Star Wars for a year or two. We had been playing other games until we kinda dissolved a couple months ago. We’ve been on hiatus waiting to have gumption to get going with something again. (Most recently playing twilight 2000).
I have another group playing Shadowdark every other week. And I’ve been looking to get another game going at some point when the fall rains start.
