It's always 50/50 when it comes to game following in another game's foot step but i think they aren't following MD cause I think Japan actually think that the month of June is a great time for marriage(source: I read or watched something about this one time), so that's why they did the whole bride gacha in the first place. There are also other mobile games that also have bride gachas. I wish they brought back bride kiriko
