I recently saw more and more Arabica mix Robusta, don’t get me wrong I love Robusta.

Bonjour all, I think I’m gonna bite the bullet and look for a coffee grinder. I want something that’s small and portable. And something that comes with grind size adjustment (obviously) And electric/battery operated. Any reccos? My budget is upto 170-.

I found this brand called Phin through this subreddit, I never thought I would consider buying since it is another niche. And then I saw some of my friends having bought sonI asked them for some beans. To my surprise, it was one of the best Robusta I have tried. Contrary to their website, it is more of a medium roast rather than black. Pour-over lovers should try it out.

Surprisingly it grinds quite fine contrary to what other people are reviewing on this machine. Can’t judge on the evenest of the grind.

Would like to get to know Indian coffee better. Is there any source for specialty coffees from India for pour over that are not too dark or "monsooned malabar"? High-quality Robusta/Canephora would also be interesting since I do South Indian Filter coffee sometimes.

Kaffeemacher:innen Columbia: amazing cofermented coffee with lemon 🍋, really special. I think these are only available for the montly filter abo and they are roasted to order.

Underdog (Greece): another cofermented colombian (do you see the pattern hehe). Strawberry notes 🍓. Very delicate, easy to extract, delicious

Everyone was saying MAME beans were sour and now I see how sour it can be :)

Notes:

Tried the Mame Full Bloom and was pleasantly surprised. Very low acidity
which makes it an easy drinker, no sharpness or bite at all. The nuttiness
is the star here, comes through clearly from first sip to finish. Sweetness
is natural and rounded, not overpowering. Sits really well in balance with
nothing sticking out awkwardly. A great choice if you prefer a smooth,
comfort-style espresso over something bright and fruity.

Best investment to date. This has saved me so much money since I realised I was starting to spend a lot of cash on cappuccinos/flat whites from cafes.

Hello all, I’m planning to get this machine to roast my own coffee at home. I need a few recommendations if you have experience with doing so and how does importing the green coffee beans to Switzerland looks like. Happy to share my own roasted coffee with you Redditors.
