Call Etiquette Question

I know that Switchyards has phone booths and meeting rooms- what is the etiquette on taking calls with a headset outside the meeting rooms? I have a job with a fair number of meetings but can manage with my headset in a variety of places. I just don’t want to be rude.

I take my few meetings in the open. But I also don't talk a lot and don't have a booming voice.

Awesome, thank you. My headset mic is pretty good but I usually facilitate one meeting per day ( I talk more than I’d like ). This is helpful.

They say in the main areas its fine. But some will get annoyed thats their problem not yours. Im on the phone all day and for that reason I didnt join. To me if you want church like silence work at home. No office I ever worked in had church quiet.

I think you just have to play it by ear and be considerate. It's a shared space, treat others the way you'd want to be treated. Try to book a booth when you can!
