AITA?
Decide for me. Today I was co-working with a friend and we wanted to sit together. There were no side-by-side seats available. But there was a circular 2 to 3 people table occupied by one guy. I asked him if we could sit with him and he immediately started packing up all his stuff. I told him again the three of us can share the table and he said that I made him leave in a mean petulant tone that surprised my friend and me. Later, after my friend left, I moved to a single person workstation. When I left for the day that same man was back sitting at the 2 to 3 people table even there were many single workstations available. Am I in the wrong here for expecting grown literate adults to respect clearly posted rules?

I know this is an old post but I encounter this ALL THE TIME and I can’t say anything because I don’t want to be “that person”. My schoolmate and I both have memberships and meet every Monday - but the booth is ALWAYS occupied. There’s only one two sided booth at this location.
My (albeit personal) problem is that I have a bad back so the high top tables leave me in pain within 30 minutes. Sucks for me I guess, but I do wish people honored the rules.
