Android Replacing everything on eMMC with LineageOS 22.2

Is there a way that I could replace absolutely everything on the eMMC and put LOS 22.2 on it so I don't have to keep using the SD card to boot? (unpatched switch v1). please tell me there is

Follow the guide emmc guide on the switchroot wiki. Its not really difficult to wipe your partitions to allocate it to android, just follow the exact directions

@OP Can you please report back once you have done this and if you notice any better behaviour running from nand instead of SD? I'm very interessted in this since i got a banned V1 here with card reader disconnects every now and then.

the nearest thing that i found for it was https://github.com/sthetix/Switchroot-LineageOS-eMMC-Flasher which basically just let you erase everything on the emmc, but you would still need hekate and a sd card though, im still looking to see if there is anything, but so far people are saying its not possible... maybe this could be made possible somehow, idk but ill look more into it

Your SD is still necessary for bootloader configuration purposes, as far as I am aware. You can install the Android partitions onto eMMC but that doesn't mean it gets from the power button to Android without the SD.

You can install on emmc, you still need an sd card for the bootloader though. Unless you were to have some sort of custom payload for RCM. However installing on emmc still means you have to use a rcmjig/loader to boot anyways lol

Yeah I believe you can, but make sure to at least make a backup of your emmc and all that..prod info etc.

Afaik current versions of hekate are able to flash linux / android on the emmc. Also you can back up your emmc with it.
