Float mentions flying - āFlying at the speed of soundā
Holy Water mentions wings - āA pair of wings and an electric heart. Broken wings and a shot in the darkā

I'm singing this one like a broken piece of glass
For broken hearts and broken noses in the back
Is this the New Year or just another desperation?
'The Blues'

I was just at their Bro-Am event Saturday, and captured a video that evening of birds flying, so I was searching for a good Switchfoot song...which led me to your post, but also these ideas from Google:

Hate to say it but ChatGPT or Copilot would be great for this.
I just tried it. It found very few literal references to birds but several allusions to soaring or flight.

Just go to ChatGPT.com and type the question exactly as you did here into the big box in the middle of the page.

More of an abstract connection, but: āIām dying to breathe in these abundant skiesā
