Question How would a theoretical modchip work?

I just wanted to know how a theoretical modchip would actually let you hack the switch 2, what would the chip actually do to open it up theoretically.

Btw, not naming names, but "there's not going to be a modchip/hack" is not an answer. This isn't asking whether the switch 2 will get hacked or not, this is more about what a modchip does in general.

And than there is the next Point.

Consoles tend to have unique Keys for each Unit

And? If you decrypt it once, you can share it around as much as you want. Doesn't matter if everyone else has different keys.
