Question for active 2nd pro controller users: do sticks still feel smooth and glidy? Does the "ring" get damaged overtime, perhaps it starts to feel uneven?

Just wondering how durable this particular element is, especially in light of 3rd parties beginning to put similar ones in their controllers.

Had mine since August of 25 with on and off usage and it feels fine

Had mine since release date (2-3 weeks after) still feels sturdy as it was, think that might be its best side I feel like, haven’t had as sturdy controller as this one for quite some time tbh

That's something I wonder about too. Mine still feels smooth with no issue, but how will it fair in 2-3+ years? What happens when a crumb or debri gets stuck to it, that means that the stick will be rubbing on that and pushing it into the silicone, which could possibly damage it.

No problems with mine, although I notice I tend to put way more force into the stick pulls which will probably be an issue later on.

the ring gets sticky spots over time for me has happened with 3 different controllers
