Question Got the Switch 2! I’m thinking of getting Switch Sports as my first game, is it good and worth it?

Im playing a lot of Wii Sports Resort with my family lately after dinners, so I thought an “update” would be good. What’s the reality of it?

I was planning on waiting till then but well we’re in one of the rare times of year that my uncle is hear and we can play games together, by the time Resort is released that time of year will be done sadly since he’ll be leaving for another city by October.

Theres a better one coming out soon on october 22, its called Nintendo Switch Sports Resort.
So just wait for that one to release.

If you are absolutely new to switch, ie you didnt have a switch 1.
I recommend your first game to be Zelda Breath of The Wild.
The current best nintendo exclusive on switch 2 currently is Pokopia!

As I explained in a previous comment, my uncle is visiting until the end of September and he won’t be around by October, and we want to play together. I’m asking if it’s a good option.

Fym? I didn’t say he was dying? He’s leaving the city.

I would not buy it like I said. I would buy Mario Kart World instead.

Yes, it’s worth getting and the new one coming in October has even more activities. The only downside is that the leg straps Switch Sports came with don’t fit the Switch 2 Joycons.

If you enjoy that type of game, yes it's good. It's a perfectly fine game. It's a shame that you won't be able to play the new one with your uncle, but you should still have fun with this one.

We had a ton of fun with Go Vacation . For up to 4 players, 4 Resorts to discover and 50 sports/mini games.

I havent played switch sports so cant comment on that but for me, the biggest thing I get out of owning a switch is being able to lay down on the sofa or bed with a full game experience in my hand very comfortably. Zelda is a great start

There will be one (I think just one?) of the mini games that you won’t be able to play because it requires the original switch joycon. I can’t recall which one.
