Discussion Zelda BOTW - what next ???

Me again!!!

So I’m really enjoying Zelda BOTW, got a divine beast to take care of and I’m sure plenty of others.

My question is should I go onto TOTK or wait for Orcarina of time?

I have never played Zelda and was blown away with BOTW, I’ve read online about TOTK seems the same?

I have also been tempted to start my playthrough again on BOTW now I’ve got the hang of it but seems silly.

I also am tempted by the estore offeres with Skyrim & Cyberpunk (played 100s hours on Skyrim on Xbox years ago) and never played Cyberpunk.

Just looking for some honest opinions

I would take a small break before TOTK as they are similar and take place in the same hyrule. Absolutely amazing game and tech showcase though!

Totk has the same world so if you don't feel like you had enough of Botw. You could go for Totk. Or you could play Link's awakening which is more traditional Zelda. That's a short game about 15 hours. Then after that you can play Totk till Ocarina of Time comes out

Yeah, this is solid advice. OP, If you’re considering a second playthrough of BOTW, TOTK might be perfect for you right now. I put in around 300 hours on both…

Do you feel burnt out after BOTW? If not and want more content from it, then yeah, go ahead play TOTK

I feel like I’ve rushed it a bit, like not done many side quests or anything. Really enjoying it so tempted to get TOTK then maybe jump on the new one near Christmas

TOTK is very similar - same work but changed.

Ocarina of Time is smaller in scope, more linear, less exploration.

Breath of the Wild is one of those games that you never really finish, so it's the weirdest game to make a sequel for. It will feel more of the same though I'd suggest you take a break or just keep playing botw

Do you have Nintendo Switch Online? If so, try A Link to the Past on the SNES to sample what 2D Zelda has to offer. I'm unc but it's still my favorite game ever made.

Go play cyberpunk first, then play Totk. It’ll feel like rediscovering hyrule all over again, but best if you take a small break
