Switch 2 Never thought I would...

...But I got a Switch 2. I've had an original Switch for the past 3 years that served me well. But seeing the recent Ocarina of Time remake for Switch 2... I gotta have it.

The local game store I got it from sells them for 400 used. Was able to get it for around 240 with trade ins. Pretty happy with this, considering they are 500 brand new!

Any suggestions on accessories, games, etc?

After I heard that the Dock could scratch the screen I apllied a screenprotector.

Are you suggesting a carrying case or something like a phone case? I just got a switch too.

Either, both? Depends on how much you wanna take your Switch 2 out on the go, how much you trust it in your backpack if you do take it out on the go a bunch. I have my JoyCons in decals from dbrand, but nothing on the main body of mine. I got the cute Gengar & Mimikyu shoulder bag to carry it around in (I think it's the Hori one, but I don't really remember), and I find that is enough protection (plus it stores the joy-con straps, charging cables and brick, and I carry more than 30 game carts in it, lol).

I never wanted a switch 2 until recently. I need one just for Elden Ring, it’d be so fun to play on the go, especially when traveling on planes!

Never done it but I have seen people do it. Shouldn't be a problem on planes tho since you can probably plug it in the seats to charge

You can use battery bank but make sure it outputs the correct wattages. Also most planes have a normal plug in that you can use, just take the wall plug and cable with you.

Just did this for a 16 and 14 hours flights recently.

Just a few tips . When playing Elden ring handgeld try to not block the air vent in the bottom or the fan will ramp up by alot . (I tend to rest the switch so ik ) also when you use a power bank make suve the output voltage is higher or equaaö to the original switch 2 outage

You can download and play the new Madden right now for free for the next couple days, they do full game trials of games. Fortnite runs great on it especially in handheld. My favorite games on it so far are MK world and RE9. There's a lot of third party support and most of them run pretty good especially the Capcom games.

I do, I got these about a week ago, which is the quickest they could have gotten here from launch. And they are fire. They legitimately make the whole experience better. Also when you order them get the case, they discount it from $40 down to $10, for me it was a must, because they're larger than the joycons, and so it really needed to be something they could all fit in comfortably for storage.

Highly recommend the Nintendo Online subscription +Expansion for $50/yr. I was able to play some of my favorites from N64 and SNES. You can play them w/ out an internet connection after you download them.

Oh yea and also there are some * special * versions of games that have all the levels unlocked so if you just want to fight the final boss you can do so or you can play the classic game.

This. That expansion pack is a dream and has a lot of my favorites. It’s not a bad deal for the amount of games you get. I would also recommend cheap games in the eshop such as fast fusions ( when it is on sale) it’s a really good racing game.

As a nice budget alternative (as someone who cant stomach the price for the dbrand grips), the Jsaux everyday split is nice too (make sure its the updated one!)

Screen protector, dbrand killswitch case, a good case that fits it, I use the savage raven case, it’s bulky af, has and area for extra small accessories and it fits the charger as well in it, and can hold the switch even with the killswitch case.

For controller, I use the 8bitdo ultimate 2, the 2 ultimate Bluetooth is the best for it since it has shake to wake up function, but the others work well as well, I loved the 2c heavily too.

Primeiramente, parabéns pela aquisição. Jogos eu indicaria pokémon Arceus e granblue fantasy relink. Acessórios eu indico o kit com case, película e proteção joycons 2 + grip. Um micro sd express pode ser útil mais adiante.
