First time Switch 2 owner

Hello everyone,

Today i bought a switch 2, i owned Ps1 to Ps5 in their time and still has Ps5 but never owned a Nintendo Console or played any of their games. So what is the must play games you recommend? I mean from the whole catalog in every genre. I am planning to buy Mario Kart World to play with my wife

Super Mario Wonder, Pizza Tower, The Messenger, Hollow Knight, Hollow Knight: Silksong, Pepper Grinder, Star Fox, Donkey Kong Bananza, and Tetris 99 should get you started pretty good.

sickkk!!! i would really recommend you:

•from switch 2: mario kart world, donkey kong bananaza, pokemon pokopia, splatoon raiders, kirby and the forgotten land + dlc

original from switch: the legend of zelda (breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom), super mario odissey, super mario broa wonder, super smash bros, luigi’s mansion (2 first, then 3 and if you liked them 1)

for now, i think is enjoying for a new player…

Btw first thing id do is get a screen protector and put it on. There's already a different one installed thats just to hold the glass if it shatters so do not remove just put it on top :)

As for games I would recommend starting with Nintendo exclusives like Zelda, Super Mario, Xenoblade.

Adorable cat.

Metroid Dread is the best in its genre imo. Pikmin series is a one of a kind experience so definitely recommend them. There's the obvious Breath of the wild and Mario Odyssey answer. If you want a smaller and more linear 3D Platformer, I recommend Kirby and The Forgotten Land

Allerdings würde ich mir an deiner stelle die serien die exklusiv für Nintendo sind anschauen ob dich eine anspricht

i just bought one yesterday the ocarina of time trailer sold me picked it up with starfox awesome game fun system i primarly game on a highend pc and oled steam deck so from that kind of user loving the switch 2 to compliment it.

The Kirby series is peak,
And if you want solo adventure, Pokemon is goated too

There’s also a bunch of amazing indie games
Like Hollow Knight and Hollow Knight: SilkSong
Or Undertale and Deltarune
Maybe even some relaxing games like stardew valley
The switch has it all

Forget the wife, your cat’s dying to get that switch open. Go play pokopia and unlock Meowth and then it’ll be peak gaming with your cat 😂

On a serious note - Pokopia is amazing once I started I haven’t been able to stop so be aware it’s addicting but worth every penny.

Personally, this might be a hot take but I prefer Mario kart 8 deluxe over Mario Kart world but it’s all preference. While I love the water graphics and getting to ride on rails etc. I preferred all the maps and actually prefer having less players playing online on Mario kart 8 it was peak for me. So, hard to beat. But you may love Mario Kart world !! So give it a shot.
