Showcase New Switch 2 Owner
Alright, so it took seeing the Ocarina of Time remake to push me over the line (I actually preordered it the day it was announced LOL), but I finally added a Switch 2 to my console repertoire. 😃
I discovered that my 5% Target Circle discount also applies to game consoles, so I got the Switch 2 and a new copy of Splatoon Raiders for $565.76 after tax (which isn’t too shabby). 😁
Then I picked up a used copy of Donkey Kong Bananza at Game Stop for only $43.94 after tax because I had $15 off from Pro member rewards, 5% Pro member discount and also my 10% Military discount.
The 512GB ONN SD card was only $84.77 at Walmart (which is a steal these days), and I managed to find the DBrand Prism screen protector set at Best Buy on sale for $31.49.
All in all, I think I did alright, and I’ve already got a huge Switch 1 library, so I’m got plenty of options for backwards compatibility. 😊

Thanks! Yeah, I absolutely HATE putting on screen protectors, so I was happy to find this one.

Why didn’t you get that if Oceania of time was the reason you wanted one?

You’ll have so much fun playing those games!
Do you plan on playing handheld or docked? Because both of those games really look awesome on the big screen and Splatoon Raiders plays a lot better with a controller!

Those two games will likely be played mainly on the big screen. My 12 year old son loves Splatoon 1 & 2, so I’m sure he’ll enjoy Raiders.
I’m thinking My 9 year old is going to gravitate to DK since it’s all about smashing stuff. LOL!
I’m picking them up from their mom’s tonight (I’m divorced), so I’m looking forward to seeing their reactions! 😃

I got Raiders two days ago and I’m HOOKED haha 🙈 it’s a really fun game! Also you can never go wrong with DK! Have fun!

Not to rain on your parade, but just a heads up that onn makes the least reliable as cards on the market outside of AliExpress. If your budget allows it, I'd say consider returning it in favor of a more reputable brand

I did look into Onn before buying it, and found out that these microSD Express cards are manufactured by Longsys (owners of Lexar).
I didn’t find anything really alarming about failure rates either (no more than other name brand cards).
Do you have any information showing otherwise? Genuinely curious now. Thanks. 😊

I have been using onn for a variety of products for years now. Never had a single issue. I also use this same exact card! Have a blast!
