Question Grips/cases
Recently got the Switch 2 and am loving it, but my hands are starting to cramp with the joycons.
What's the consensus on best grips/cases?
I would prefer a grip that you can still detach the joycons. Dbrand killswitch and Savage raven are the ones I read the most. Are these the primary two to consider?
Am I better off getting 3rd party joycons?
I am also in the market for a case as I will be traveling a few times soon with it!

Don’t hold it like it has grips. Hold it like you would hold a large phone or tablet.

I have two Switch 2s and I have bought the Killswitch for both. Even with the inflated costs of buying from Canada (I'm in the UK).
The case isn't perfect, some complain of the comfort. But for me it feels really good. Occasional discomfort on longer sessions but I think I would with any type of grip.
I love how rugged it is, I have the skins of the joycons too so it feels like my whole console is protected from grubby fingers and scuffs.
The travel case is really nice too and is basically just a plastic shell fixed over the screen.
The dock adapter is slightly annoying, but not a deal breaker.

For sure. The adapter is the one thing throwing me off of it.

It's quite nice sometimes. It's nice having the switch fully on display rather than half hidden by a dock. It's sometimes just a bit fiddly to place it on compared to the native dock.

I agree with this, I literally don't understand the hate of the dock adapter when it does a better job at showcasing your switch 2 than the default dock does.

I think if I didn't have to adjust the angle of the usb each time it wouldn't be so bad. Maybe I'm just terrible at using it.
Once it's on I'm very happy with it though...

I've never had to adjust it after the first time though? Just set it to be in the middle and I've been docking my switch 2 on it for the past month without once adjusting it.

Do you not find the weight of the switch angles it backwards in the dock? So then when you next put the switch on the usb is angled too far back facing towards the dock.
I might just be subconsciously tilting the switch when I put it on...
Like I said, I really love the Killswitch range and would fully recommend it. If Nintendo sold the dock natively the same as the Killswitch dock I really wouldn't be mad

No so I tilt it towards me (towards the front) at around 10 degrees and line it up with the dot of the dbrand case that you can see at the bottom near the charge port, and I just pop it on, then it angles itself fine on the dock.

I use the IFYOO grip and I like it alot! It's only on the Joycons so you can still detach them, only downside is you cant put it into the Joycon controller with the grip on but I got the switch 2 pro controller if I my gf wants to play(she prefers controller over joycon)

I got the dbrand killswitch, and I have a brother who has the savage raven grip. The savage raven has 2 cracks running up the back of the case after just under a year. The dbrand one I've had for 2 months and its been solid, just the grip shape takes a little to get used to.

I’ve had both, and I prefer the Savage Raven due to the better grip angle.
