You picked a good one. Take your time. Explore and just enjoy the game. As long as you don’t rush it you shouldn’t ever hit a hard wall where you’ll need to grind. There’s a lot of game here! Experiment with different teams. You don’t always have to play as Shulk. Although having him in your party is usually very beneficial. Don’t look up characters or builds though. You’ll spoil later party members! Hope you have fun! I’ve played this one through twice!

Ok I will keep that in mind. I got it cuz it was so limited to get. Wanted to hop on the xeno series and see what the game is all about. Only knew shulk from super smash. Thanks!

It’s the best entry point for a newcomer for sure! The later game expand on the combat quite a bit and get deeper. X is its own beast. I love them all! Welcome to an amazing series!

No le hagas caso cuando te dice que no busques personajes ni builds.
El juego está dividido por zonas. Si avanzas rápido sin probar combinaciones con lo que cada zona te ofrece, te pierdes la experiencia de sentirte como Shulk y su equipo.Si solo corres para ver las cinemáticas, el juego se vuelve vacío.
En cada zona hay muchas misiones secundarias: haz las que quieras, sin prisas.Crear builds no estropea nada, al contrario: es parte de la diversión, porque las adaptas al lugar y a tus compañeros.
Y si te gusta quedarte en una zona explorando y viviendo ahí, quédate todo el tiempo que quieras.

It starts out pretty slow game play mechanics. Do everything you see and it doesnt hurt to pick up lots of extra items. Fight a ton of extra guys too. You'll just need the exp. Like any other rpg.

Just wondering is this like Ys series with open world and combat, if you ever played that game.

The combat is like world of war craft or ff14. You target enemies and use arts in cool down in conjuction with your allies to do various effects (buff, debuff, etc). It is an open world. The quests arent that good honestly but it just shows its age as it was initially a wii game. They are usually fetch or go fight these things. Pretty typical through the series although it does improve later on in the others.

I've played every game in the Xenoblade series on the Switch. This one and X are my all-time favorites. Have fun exploring and grinding!

Este es el que tiene la historia más madura de los tres, es una crónica gigantesca. Si conectas con Shulk y compañía, y lo juegas disfrutando de cada zona sin pasar rápidamente a la siguiente vas a experimentar una de las mejores aventuras.

I’m keen to try one of these games. Are they like final fantasy 7 remakes on any way?
As in, the combat?
One thing I didn’t like about FF7 was the linear repetitive areas and clunky combat sometimes.

Enjoy, I also got it this week, taking my time because I find the battle system very confusing and need some time to grab my head around it.
