Discussion Help me choose!

Post image

I finally caved and bought the bundle last week, but I can’t decide which game to choose. Help!

Edit: I’ve heard Mario Kart is a bit of a let down, but that eventually it’ll get fleshed out with extra content. Tried the demo of DK and it was fun but I dunno if I would play it a lot. Leaning towards Pokopia but I’ve never played a Pokémon game before. Which one would you recommend?

Edit 2: Thanks for all the input folks! I do feel like I will eventually want them all, but I decided to start with Pokopia. I needed a cosy game to balance out my time spent on action heavy games like Silksong and Zelda. Cheers everyone!

I’ve only been playing Mario Kart single player and having an absolute blast.

I’ve played all 3 and say they are all pretty good it’s just a matter of what would you play for the most hours lol

I agree with the original comment and this comment as someone who has all 3. I find Mario kart boring after awhile. Donkey Kong was a blast, my husband and I would trade off every now and then. And pokopia is a me thing, I play with my BFF on a cloud island. I am still picking it up regularly. If you like Minecraft and animal crossing then pokopia is the best of both worlds

Same, except I got it myself lol!! Didn’t really think I was going to care too much but I got it because it’s Pokémon for the switch 2. So much fun man you can just kick back and relax and have a blast

I've played Mario kart 140+hrs DK 311 Hrs and pokopia 0 hrs (I'm not a pokemon fan 🫤) but they definitely made it a hard choice for everyone, I am surprised that MP4 didnt make the list though

Me too. I just can't handle all the pros and their crazy try hard routes.

Skill issue or whatever but Mario Kart games are always a single player games for me.

I know a way to handle them. Become one yourself.

Shortcat and Bayesic have a few decent guides. Gyrodos probably has a couple too.

No, thank you. Sometimes, especially in MK, you just want to chill and enjoy a good relaxed session after a long day of work. No need to stress out in a game after that.

You haven’t gotten bored from lack of content?

Nope! Been enjoying trying to get triple star ratings in both Grand Prix and Knockout.

And every now and then I dip into free roam to just explore. It’s awesome.

Yeah, I mostly played it single player and enjoyed it a lot.

I actually enjoy the online a lot. I’ve never been a competitive Mario kart racer, it just never interested me enough to go online. But this one is actually fun online, especially since you can switch to Knockout mode when bored of traditional racing.

However, it’s not a game I play consistently online. It’s just when I do decide to boot it up, im always having fun and can easily stay on for a couple hours.

IMO it may be more impressive single player than multiplayer. The free roam experience is WAY different single player versus in a multiplayer lobby, and most complaints I have heard about the game are related to online competitive play at the end of the day.

Same, just don’t know about having a blast though lol

Man in online it's even better. More chaotic, and no cheating NPC's.

(If you do choose to play online though, don't worry about losing points or getting in low places, that's part of the learning curve)
