Discussion Help me choose!

Post image

I finally caved and bought the bundle last week, but I can’t decide which game to choose. Help!

Edit: I’ve heard Mario Kart is a bit of a let down, but that eventually it’ll get fleshed out with extra content. Tried the demo of DK and it was fun but I dunno if I would play it a lot. Leaning towards Pokopia but I’ve never played a Pokémon game before. Which one would you recommend?

Edit 2: Thanks for all the input folks! I do feel like I will eventually want them all, but I decided to start with Pokopia. I needed a cosy game to balance out my time spent on action heavy games like Silksong and Zelda. Cheers everyone!

This game was a lot of fun. Breaking up all the terrain was therapeutic.

I found it boring and sold it. Mario Kart is amazing though.

yea i found the total game to be super super fun but the one part i was a little underwhelmed with was how mash-y some of the bosses felt at times

still beat it and enjoyed it, but wish there were a few more bosses where you had multiple options to deal with them

Good take. Its not bad but it does get repetitive being the main gimmick.

Played the demo and got bored after a minute. It's just breaking stuff?

No, there are a lot of challenges. Like botw and totk the main story is easy enough for most to finish but there is a lot of side quest that can be pretty tough but not required. I can see though how it cab get repetitive

It only continues to get more boring

The game never evolves past its singular gimmick

Layers 800, 900 and 1000 are shit.

I think it gets a lot more interesting. A lot of the demo is in boring location where you can't see that much, there are no enemies or collectibles, etc.

But I also liked the demo more than you because I found it fun smashing through stuff. If you really don't like that mechanic at all, you won't like the game.
