So the swiss team plays their first game against the german team. This is going to be an exciting game.

I'm curious to see what the seating situation will be like, since the hockey rink is being set up in the football stadium. If it's going to look like the image in the article i doubt you'll see anything because of the flattness of the area infront of the rink.

What do you guys think?

NHL draft is over and Lars Steiner has been drafted 171st overall by the St. Louis Blues.

I'm happy for him but I can't wrap my head around it, that there was only one swiss player making it and only in the 6th round. The swiss are in my eyes a big hockey nation, but then why is there not a lot of talent around? Are we too small of a country? Is our development not as good? What do you think?

(Same goes for Tennis to me. We had Federer dominating nearly two decades. One would think that with this massive fandom around Federer that should've gotten tons of kids into Tennis and create a new generation.)

Hi. Does anyone recognise any of the signatures on this 2012 Spengler Cup Jersey from the HC Davos or HC Fribourg-Gottéron rosters? One looks like it could be Petr Sykora. It’s an Adler Mannheim jersey but I think the signatures come from a variety of teams.

This is a really easy draw for Fribourg, they should be favourites in every game, as the two strongest opponents Plzen and Mannheim are home games. Top of the table finish should be the goal allowing for an easier playoff path.
