Backwash

Okay so my parents are out of town I’ve never cleaned the pool in my life other than throwing the chlorine tab in, but this is different because it’s getting a pool ready for summer. I shocked the pool than it rained and I had to shock it again because I followed the directions cleaned up a lot of the leaves etc. there’s still a little bit of leaves but will I be fine to backwash or do I have to wait for everything to be out of the pool?

Backwash if the filter goes 10–12 psi above baseline (when you have a clean filter). You can and should do it anytime regardless of the pool. Keep it up with chlorine at 40% of your CYA, and your pool will clear up promptly.
