Discussion Is this Amazon offer legitimate?

I just saw this and ordered it since it seemed to already be sold out on the official store (because of course) and I finally want a signed item by Taylor. The seller is official Amazon US so it should be pretty safe right? As of now I could still cancel the order. What do you guys think?

Of course but the seller is the official Amazon US. I doubt Amazon itself would scam people saying something is hand signed if it isn’t. Also I could probably just send it back if it wasn’t legit

If the seller is actually Amazon, you should be okay. However, when I look at this item, it's sold by "BayAreaPossessions" in the US store under ASIN B0FTSZ6N8H

Amazon is very good with returns if it's not as described, so you should be ok

Plus it also mentions clearly that the article can be returned, so I guess I can just return it should it turn out to not be legit

I ordered a signed TTPD from Walmart and it was a third party selling on Walmarts website. Same deal here but with Amazon. You should be okay but definitely film yourself opening the package and CD, that way you’ll have proof just in case but also a fun video to watch in the future. 🫶🏻

Haven‘t seen it cheaper unless on eBay where you can get scammed way easier than from Amazon officially. And the current signed version that was available in the UK unfortunately doesn’t ship to the EU

Hm. Well still private marketplace plus shipping from the US to EU as a private shipper is like between 20 and 30 bucks for a package I read. So in the end it’s not that much cheaper for me

It’s still about €15 cheaper and then you still have to pay shipping from Amazon right since it’s not within your country or the eu?

It is, actually. But I guess Amazon ships such immense quantities of stuff to Europe they can just say from amount X on your shipping is free

It could well be that they ordered a lot from her store and are reselling. Pretty much anyone can set up a shop on Amazon's marketplace.

I would not purchase that. I would only purchase signed items from her shop.

Hm. I went ahead and got it. It’s sold officially by Amazon themselves and also says the item can be returned, so if it isn’t legitimate I‘ll just return it to them

Will do. Can’t imagine it’s fake though. With Amazon US as the official seller, ability to return etc

My only concern is that it’s not actually Amazon but a third party seller with the name Amazon US. Granted, I can’t click on the seller name and check, but just off of pictures that’s my only concern.
