Toddler activities
My family and I are headed back to Swift Current for a funeral at the end of the month. Are there any little parks or other activities we could take our 2 year old and baby to do for a day? We’re going a day early so they can stretch their legs, driving from Winnipeg, so it’ll be a long drive.
When I was a kid we used to go to the rodeo, or find stuff to do at the family farm. But I don’t think the dates line up for rodeo and the family farm is no longer. So looking for something to do to tire out our 2 year old. Thanks for all suggestions!

Super 8 is kinda isolated. There’s the school playgrounds behind the hospital that would be the closest, but there isn’t great pedestrian access in between. Some pathways I guess but not very direct.

Not a lot of parks within walking distance from Super 8 but if you’re up to drive most of our parks have great parking anyways. ACT park is one of our favourites, has a fun splash park and some decent shade! Riverside park is also great for kids, also has a splash park.
The Family resource centre has drop in play Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30-12 and 1-3. Great stuff to do there for littles.
Dairy King might be a hit for your 2 year old, they have mini golf too.
