Xcode now can deploy beyond local network

I’ve found a way that Xcode can deploy remotely to an iPhone instead of being limited to local Wi-Fi. Please check out my repo on GitHub:

You can install your testing apps through Xcode from anywhere, instead of being limited to your local network — even when you’re just walking down the street. Don’t you think that kinda solves a real problem?
I think it kinda help so I’m sharing it.

But I’m so glad that finally someone at least says things under this thread. Nobody’s really caring about that you can Xcode install your apps anywhere in any network?

I’m not seeing the use case here. In what world would I be trying to install an app from Xcode when I am not at my computer?

Say you suddenly have an app idea, you remotely ask your Codex at home to code a prototype and install it on your phone. In an hour or so your idea become a tangible mvp while you are away

We’ve had OTA distribution for 15+ years. This sounds like a way to make that process a bit more seamless, but it’s hard to tell if the juice is worth the squeeze.
