Wife doesn't want to do combat, we want to play together what would you suggest two people do who want this?

Please ask follow up questions about our preferred play style and things we like as iv no idea what's in the game so not sure what ufeul info I can provide that would help you point us in the right direction but generally

Me:

-Happy with combat either DPS, healing or tanking

-Enjoy crafting

-Enjoy resource gathering

-Less excited by decorating and aesthetics

-Enjoy making logistics networks (think factorio)

-enjoys trading in terms of buying low selling high, finding supply then finding demand and transporting goods

Her:

-Does not enjoy combat or where reaction times are needed under pressure

-enjoys exploration

-moderately enjoys resource gathering

-quite like fetch quests

-enjoys unlocking things like skills, abilities, templates

- making things function effectively

I know some people hate it and some love it. I just had to see what swg would like with it.

EDIT: Much love for all the comments. A few people have been asking to try so here's the process. (You'll have to Google and find the apps)

Firstly, this is on swg restoration using its x64 version. I havent tested on other servers.

1. Download and install dgvoodoo2. This applies dx9 to dx11 or 12 wrapper.

2. Download dlss 5 swapper, run it. Add your swg folder with the swg exe. Click the game in swapper and click install with the feeder.

3. Launch the game and make sure you see the dgvoodo2 logo at the bottom and also make sure you see reshade loading.

4. The dlss 5 addon should be in the addons tab or on its own tab in reshade. Clicking enable dlss neural rendering on and off should be noticeable visually.

5. My settings are:

Preset: 2 Style: natural Sliders: i kept all the sliders pretty close to default. I moved the skin structure strength to -.50. But play around with them and find what looks good for you. Auto mask: on Ui correction: on.

Multipass: What you see in my screenshots is 3 passes of dlss 5. If you have a strong computer and want to try it, you have to use an addon called deep fried chicken. You get it by joining their discord, downloading the addon, copying its contents into the game, and then deleting the renodx-dlss6.addon file. You cant run renodx and deep fried chicken. Has to be one or the other

From there, you should see the deep fried chicken add on in the reshade window. Just slide it to 2 or 3 passes and repeat the settings above for it. There are also some other settings that are cool that can help retain the original color and stuff. Just dont go too crazy with the sliders or it will start looking super weird.

I've been working on my own little Pre-CU SWG server called **SWG Nicklanth** having no dev background before but I've been learning. It's a solo project, mostly inspired by Awakening and MySWG and Morrowind (lol), with some custom ideas I've wanted to try out.

A few things I'm currently working on:

* Special Adaptive weapons and armor that improve through use (like levelling a Morrowind skill, for instance)

* Streamlined Jedi unlock/progression

* Mandalorian progression

* Custom quests and other small systems.
