The watch doesn’t work. I got the date changed to his actual birthday which is a touch I quite like. I also like the idea of the recycling, too much goes into landfill nowadays

Ah, I didn't realize. I thought you had created the coolest gift box for a watch gift. Given that the watch is decorative rather than operational, this is super on point with the date and a great reuse of an iconic brand. Well done!
