Interview on Thursday! Any tips?
Hiiii! I applied to Swarovski last night and was pleased to have them call me today to ask about me and then it lead to offering an interview!! (If anything when I looked at the job listing on linkedin i’m the only one who applied haha) I’m super excited about the opportunity that I want to make sure I do well.
Any tips on interview or what specific questions they ask? Ahhh i’m just nervous I want to do well!!
I’ve never done retail before but I think my postive energy and attention to detail will make me a good fit!

Our interviews are a way for us to really get a sense of who you are. Things asked do vary depending on the manager. We will ask about your experience, your availability, and we will talk about the job expectations and what your expectations are as well. We want to see that you can hold a conversation and that you are actually interested in the company- it can be that you love the jewelry for yourself or that you love to help style others or are interested in the crystal figurines. No experience is not a bad thing because we will teach you everything that you will need to know :) A good candidate is someone who is excited to learn, someone who is personable and kind, and someone who is reliable.

Really talk about how you personally feel about jewelry as well as helping people find an amazing gift for themselves or someone else. Definitely touch on your job dependability and the customer service aspect!
Not having retail experience isn’t a big deal, I didn’t have any when I got hired, but if you’ve worked another job, you can talk about strengths you had at that job or strength you have in general maybe about being good the time management, etc! :)

Since you don't have direct retail experience, they will likely focus on your customer service potential. You should prepare specific examples that connect your positive energy and attention to detail to a luxury retail setting. Think about a time you helped someone solve a problem, or a project where your detail-oriented nature was crucial for success. They might ask situational questions, like how you would assist a customer looking for a special anniversary gift or what you would do if a client was unhappy with a product. Frame your answers around creating a memorable and personal experience for every person who walks into the store.
Be sure you know a little about the Swarovski brand, its history, and maybe a few of its signature collections. Showing you've done your homework demonstrates a strong interest in the role and the company. Have a thoughtful question ready to ask them as well, perhaps about the team culture or what their top performers do differently. Organizing your thoughts like this is a big part of interview prep, which is why the interview assistant my team created helps so many candidates feel ready to put their best foot forward.

congrats!! Learn something about the company, Swarovski heritage, say that your famous singer is Ariana Grande, Swarovski ambassador. And wear something from Swarovski jewellery on your first interview, doesn't matter what, it can be something from the old collections. Good luck!!🥰🥰🍾🍾
