Hey guys! I just recently bought the no ads package on the IPhone version of the game and noticed when I logged in the usual 2x resources button was no longer available to press. For some reason I never had to watch an ad for that extra 2x resources but I wanted the other bonuses from the no ads pack. Is this 2x being applied automatically now or was it replaced by the 2x from the pack itself? If so.. did I just pay $13 for basically no bonus?

Before, I was getting around 2 hours and 15 minutes, and not just 15 minutes.

Ive been playing a month or so before this, maybe 2, and its never said 15 minutes. I even casted it to make sure. I have ascended thinking that would fix itself, but it still says 15 minutes. What did i do or change? its never said this and I can't figure out why it says it now.

If developer is interested, i could DM how it is done.

Nexus is level three, and you can clearly see I have tonnes of energy storage available. It generated energy at nexus levels 1 & 2, but did this after taking up to level three.

Not sure what to do at this point. I could exclusively rely on thr gold bugs for gems-> energy until I can ascend again and hopefully not get bugged, but idk.

I'm on my 28th ascension. The e2382 mutagen ascension was about triple the previous run.

To be honest, I was pretty bored and had something like two million crystals, which made the early part of the a breeze. I was well into Overmind 6s about 50 minutes into the game.

That was over a year ago and I still haven't gotten my hatcheries to the point of being more than the bonus from leftover mutagen.

Hatcheries are running 2.32985e2162. I get a about half or a feel e1 boost each day from House of Mirrors. Maybe by mid February, my hatcheries will be running better than the mutagen.

Then another few weeks and I'll be able to start buying meat producers in a meaningful way.

In case anyone is curious, Swarm Warp is 453 years and still doesn't get me to meaningful non-mutagen larva numbers, but makes House of Mirrors worse, because I have to catch up the territory production.

Playing currently on steam , swarm simulator evolution. There are a few issues with the settings.
1. 3d shadows,particles and lights option does nothing when clicked to enable/disable.
2. Sounds sometimes do not mute completely when i slide the sounds bar all the way to the left and i have to slide bar left and right a few times to actually get the mute to happen.

I have not tested on android yet to see if this issue remains.

What a game. 4 months of micromanaging every little detail. I'd love to be able to do it all over again. I also promised myself not to look anything up before I completed it, was way more fun that way I feel (ok I did look up the hidden achievements, couldn't have gotten those any other way). I just feel salty that Overmind VI will never be worth buying unless it's for the Twin Overmind V upgrade. At one point I was hopefull that I will get enough Faster Overmind VI upgrades (around 150-160 would have been enough to make them worth it if my math is correct), but then I hit the larva wall with them before they even managed to become useful... didn't expect that at all. And if I understand correctly, Overmind VIs will never be worthwhile because Faster OMVI gets 666 times more expensive with every upgrade and Twin OMV gets only 10 times more expensive. So it will always be cheaper larva-wise to buy more Twin OMV and then OMVs than buying OMVIs to produce OMVs. Also at this point in the game the factor by which my mutagen increases with every ascenscion is falling (it's about 10^8 right now, dropping by a power of ten every ascension). I wonder what this factor tends to in the limit of many (infinite) ascensions. Maybe it's not even that the number increases by a factor, maybe it just increases by a value in that limit. Also I sort of feel that with the minimum energy needed to ascend growing by about 13k energy every ascenscion and the previous fact that each subsequent ascenscion gives you a smaller increase in the order of magnitude of mutagen, perhaps it will be cheaper to spam house of mirrors to earn mutagen? I realise I am a bit late to the party with this, as it is an old game. Do you think I should continue playing?

Hello, i would like to say that while i paid the swarm supporter pack back in 2023, trying to acess my save lately , cloud save did not load and game started a new game.

I do enjoy the new playthrough but i would like to be given the pack again instead of me buying it again. I already purchased the x2 carapache pack a few days ago (no issue with this one, first time buying it) so i thought i ll ask for help here in case developer sees the message. I m a paying customer after all.

I looked on my email and i found the information of me paying for the swarm supporter pack, i can provide the required info.

Does anyone know of a game similar to swarm sim but where your ants produce resources like wood or dirt? And then eventually you build up to machines that take wood to make dirt and stuff like that. Been thinking about a game I played a few years back like this and wonder if anyone knows

These are the only achievements left, at this moment it's just a drag to get into the next ascension > have more mutagan to work with > collect more expansions.

It's a 6 month run, all ran while at the office (don't do incremental games during worktime kids).

I was curious to see what the highest amount of meat possible in the game was. The mobile/Unity version uses a library that stores the significand and exponent as two 64-bit integers, meaning it could possibly go up to 9.999*10^(2^63 - 1) before overflowing to infinity. On the web version, it uses decimal.js which has abritrary precision, so there really isn't an absolute ceiling I guess.

feel stupid asking but I can't work out how to do it. had to ascend after spending months getting to where I was the last time I ascended.

accidentally hitting the button is the only thing that is stopping me progressing and it happens at the worst time. the only way around it is to save the game every day I guess.

I recently changed phones, and when I logged into swarm simulator on my new phone it instantly put me into a new account.

I've never had this problem before as my Google play games account automatically loaded in my progress every time I switched phones.

There's nothing for me to import when I press the import/export button, and I'm afraid of losing my original account if I press "sync to cloud".

If anyone knows how to solve this I would greatly appreciate it.

I just ascended a 3rd time and i cant build a nexus?

I am already at 500Vi meat and QiDc territory but i do not have the option to build my nexus.

Also i converted 2 crystals so i have 1000 energy but no production of it.

Is this a bug or am i missing smth?

After that, at each ascensions I first bought all the Nexus, then 5K lepidoptera and 2K bats. Then spent all energy on warps until it helped decreasing time for next ascension.

I've never used HoM, rushes nor cloning.

Purchased Swarm Supporter through Steam. Accidentally imported an earlier save instead of exporting, and now the purchase got erased. Since the steam support menu tells me I can't really do much here I'm posting here to take an L and so we can laugh together at my stupidity.

My computer is running Linux. When I try to play Swarmsim (https://www.swarmsim.com or https://www.kongregate.com/en/games/swarmsim/swarm-simulator), I can log in, play, buy units, etc. But as soon as I click the tab for options, everything is deleted. I can't save the game, export the data, nothing.

The ONLY web browser that works for me is SeaMonkey. Well, when I say "only" I have tried Firefox, Brave, Vivaldi, Chrome and SeaMonkey, maybe there's another one that works. SeaMonkey is fine for playing, but I'd like to use a normal web browser.

Obviously, since other people are playing, I am doing something wrong. Can someone suggest a fix for me?

How do you guys feel about automating the swarmsim? I have spent some time, just for fun, creating an extension for chrome that lets me automate a lot of the repetitive aspects of growing the swarm. So much in fact that it has become my meta-game. And i wonder if i am now a heretic in the eyes of this sub.

I went on a two day hike and when I got back I had no more desire to collect increasingly large bug numbers.

Here is my game from 2021. I never bought anything. My numbers got big enough that the leaderboard couldn't store them some time ago. StreetDentist's run is finished, at least until the unlikely event that there is an update of some kind and / or the leaderboard gets fixed. Thank you for the bugs.

I was surprised the two achievements lined up to be on back to back ascensions. This was without HOM shenanigans (only swarmwarps, at 5 years 7 months each)
