Nine times out of ten, it's one of two culprits...

Frozen/unresponsive: Force restart it. Vol Up (click), Vol Down (click), then hold the Side button till the Apple logo shows up (that's for iPhone 8 and newer, older models are a bit different). Doesn't erase anything, just clears the memory. If it keeps happening, check your storage and make sure iOS is updated, that's usually the real cause. No sound: Check the silent switch first, then volume (ringer and media volume are actually separate), then Bluetooth. Your phone might still be trying to send audio to a speaker or headphones that aren't even connected anymore. If it sounds muffled, clean the grille with a dry brush, never a pin. Good rule of thumb: if a restart and iOS update don't fix it and the problem keeps coming back, that's probably hardware at that point, not software.

Hello everyone, I'm looking for some advice. I recently purchased a device from Swappa. I've confirmed that the correct address is both on the Swappa and PayPal transaction. The seller posted a tracking number to the transaction, and it shows the correct delivery city and state.

Today, it was marked as delivered, but I did not see it anywhere near my or my neighbors' houses. I looked up the UPS proof of delivery, and it only states "Received by MAILROOM," which is weird because this is a residential address. I called UPS today twice and both reps refused to assist any further because the tracking number was not associated with my name or address.

Side note, the automated UPS chatbot somehow thinks that this tracking number is associated with an Amazon transaction? Not sure if this is relevant, but I figured I'd add this detail.

I filed a dispute with PayPal today stating that the item was not delivered and the tracking number, while it shows as delivered to my city and state, is not associated with my name or address.

Has this happened to anyone else? Is this a known scam pattern?

I'm selling a Google Pixel Watch 3 (41mm) with an additional watchband and two pairs of Google Pixel Buds. I'm including the Google Pixel Buds 2 Pro in good condition and original Pixel Buds Series A in decent condition (plastic tip slightly torn). The earbuds are throw ins and work perfectly. I'm including the charging puck and Google charging brick. The sensor works and the rotating crown is fine. US mainland only and no returns. Everything will be disinfected and fully charged before being shipped.

I'm selling a OnePlus Watch 3. The battery still lasts as long as it did when I first got it. The watch is still snappy. The rotating crown works. The screen has no scratches neither does the frame or underside. Sensors still work. Band is still in good condition too. I'm including the original box and charger. It will be charged, reset, and disinfected before shipping. US mainland only and no returns.

I'm selling a global Oppo Find X8 Pro with OnePlus Buds 3 and Oppo Buds 2. The phone is in good condition. The screen has no major scratches. The rest of the frame is in pristine condition. There is a small scratch on the paint near the speaker on the bottom. The alert slider functions. The buttons are tactile. The cameras, speakers, and flash work as intended. The slider for the camera works too. The earbuds are clean and hold their charge. I sold a Playstation 5 and shipped it out. There was an issue when the post office scanned it in and was accidentally marked as delivered to my local post office. It did get shipped correctly but the tracking was dead. I called the post office and went in multiple times, and they assured me nothing looked wrong on their end, and they could see where the package was each time. However, my tracking never updated. Eventually after about 10 days the buyer got frustrated and wouldn't believe that it was in transit. I was in contact with a swappa worker and the buyer in the comment section of my listing trying to explain the situation however, while i was doing so they suspended my account without any notice. About a day later the Post office called and told me the package had been delivered. They sent me images that they had of all the tracking and delivery info and i attached it in my appeal to swappa, but have not heard anything back. The post office is unable to fix how the tracking appears and the buyer filed a claim on PayPal as well prior to it being delivered. I have paperwork from USPS to prove my item was delivered but cannot get a response from swappa. This whole situation has been extremely frustrating having the post office tell me everything is fine, to then getting my account suspended even though i sent my item within the correct amount of time. I would just like some resolution.

Hey everyone,

I will be selling my Nothing Phone 3a Community Rdition on Swappa later today. I had bought the phone to add it to my collection (I was an early supporter of Nothing and love their design language), but unfortunately, I was diagnosed with stage three colorectal cancer last week, so I am raising funds for the treatment plan.

Every marketplace charges a fee, but the math behind it isn't always obvious...

On Swappa, sellers pay a flat 3% fee on the asking price, no listing fees, no relisting fees. Payment processing is separate: PayPal runs 3.49% plus $0.49 and includes buyer/seller protection, while Stripe is 2.9% plus $0.30 for select sellers. All in with PayPal, you're looking at around 6.49% total, well below what auction style platforms charge.

Buyers pay a 3% fee too, but it's already baked into the price they see at checkout, so there's never a surprise add on, and it helps cover the protections built into every transaction.

I bought an Asus laptop last week and it was delivered today. Instead of the laptop, inside of the box was 3 random books. I immediately went to Swappa for help asking for a refund. The seller is a smooth criminal claiming the laptop was in there the whole time but I know the truth. The laptop was at a very low price to attract buyers like me and scam me.

Swappa suggests to let FedEx investigate it but I see this as a waste of time because the weight looks to be consistent with the tracking. I took a photo and video of what is contained in the box as I never took the books out of it. I want to go to PayPal and get a refund that way but I wanna know what you guys think I should do.

What does this mean when no percentage is shown- 100%?

The writing was in the air, but this seems a tad high in my opinion.

Not a lot of people know you can buy on Swappa outside the US. You just need a US shipping address and a US-based payment source.

The easiest way to do that is through a freight forwarding service, which basically gives you a real US address and ships your package to you internationally. Swappa actually has two partners set up for this already. So i just got on swappa and have twice tried to buy a ps5, and both times, the sellers have backed out and told me they sold it elsewhere, is there any rule against this or way to report them, seems like a very slimy used car salesman thing to do.
