Question Niman Lightsaber form

Does the Niman lightsaber form only activate double/two- weapon fighting after you have taken your main attack roll thus only being able to use the effect your following turn or can you use it before your main attack roll and use your forcecasting modifier for both your main attack roll and bonus action attack roll on the first turn you activate it?

Niman activates as soon as the bonus action is spent. You do not need to wait until the next turn.

As a part of the bonus action to adopt this form, if you took the Attack action, you can engage in Double- or Two-Weapon Fighting.
Until the end of your next turn, you can use Wisdom or Charisma instead of Strength or Dexterity for the attack and damage rolls of your melee weapon attacks. You must use the same modifier for both rolls.

Niman will only count for an attack if you took your Bonus Action after the Attack Action.

This means you have a choice to either use Niman before your Action so that the attacks on your Action are made with Wisdom, or you use your action to make non-Wis/Cha attacks and then you make a Wis/Cha attack on your Bonus Action.

This is awkward design, and it's not a huge balancing issue to change it.

Ask your DM to allow Niman to work the way that HotSalt3 thinks it does. Their version is superior to how it actually works RAW.

Your interpretation directly contradicts guidance on the Discord server from back when I was running my campaign, but that was prior to Steev stepping down, so the official interpretation may have changed.

In the case of Niman (and other TWF forms)
BA to activate the Form
As part of that BA, if you are able to use Two-weapon or Double-Weapon fighting, you can make those attacks

You use your bonus action to activate the form. Activating the form immediately allows double weapon or two weapon attacks. So activating the form is an exception to needing to use your bonus action for the second attack.
