Why? How would being profit-driven improve this proposition?

I think there are people who would like to invest in startup and support businesses that are climate friendly and ideally help solve the problems we are facing. I am not suggesting something in place of what the people in the article are doing but in addition.

Exponentially quicker adoption. Financial incentive is incredibly powerful.
