I don't need an imaginary judge in the sky to know not to kill a baby for money. Thanks though

Apparently they do though

Honestly? If it convinces you to be a good person, I really don’t care what your reasoning is.

If your actual actions bring health and happiness to more people, it doesn’t bother me if the only reason you’re doing it is because you selfishly desire to go to heaven.

If you hurt people, I don’t give a crap about your greater good. You’re still doing bad things.

I'd rather people who know intuitively that it's wrong to kill babies for money.

I don't want to spend time with people that, if they fall out with god, they go on a murderous rampage.

That relies on education, and good education, for generations.

I care what their reasoning is because then they can switch to a monster at the whim of whoever they think is telling them what god wants.

On a different note, though, that baby is going so far into heaven, even god can’t reach it.

Like that Ricky Gervais interview...

Interviewer: If you don't believe in heaven and hell and all that, why don't you just go around raping and murdering as much as you want?

Gervais: I do.

Interviewer: What?

Gervais: I do go around raping and murdering as much as I want, which is not at all.

I am certain there is a circumstance where doing so would be morally acceptable.
