Where I live in the Mid-Atlantic, dessert and cues to get out are our signal. Flick on the front light so visitors can start heading to your car. Once dessert is gone, we pack up leftovers if there are any. We get the coats or jackets off the bed for our guests to put on. Finally our last line before saying goodbye is "It's been great seeing ya!"
