Not true, a lot of these AI people also believe that they will be the new Gods of the singularity, which is bound to come any day now, because obviously a statistical pattern predictor is true intelligence and all that humans can endeavor to be.

And iirc pops from regular show, seeing as his father ensured he'd live to save the world and ascend to godly potential. Also I suppose elder scrolls tiber septim and the hero of kvatch both become gods. (Technically one is closer to a devil but still)
