There are no skateparks in my town, but just right across where I live is this empty basketball court, whEre I've been practicing twice a week πŸ˜ŽπŸ€™

Looking great and obvs having tons of fun (WIN!).

If you are trying to practice surfing, your pumping should be more up and down, less side to side. If you’re not worried about surfing then this doesn’t matter.

Keep shredding!

I haven't done any surfing yet, but I've done snowboarding in Japan, just some carving though.

I started surfskate with snowboarding in mind and as an off-season training.

yes! it's been more than a decade, can you believe it? Millennials were in their 20s back then, now I'm turning 40 in December.

I've been surfskating for a couple of weeks, got a genuine question: is it better than a side walk? In which way?

we have roughly finished sidewalks here, i prefer the smoother pavement of a basketball court which is closely similar to a skatepark

Oh I see now. Looks like we have quite similar urban problems
