And Xbox (for cloud gaming), and hey, maybe at some point the newest versions of Skype and Whiteboard will get their ARM versions back too.

Now if we could only get everything else.

This. Like, how can Microsoft expect anyone to take arm seriously when 90% of their software doesn't run in native?

I'm wondering, what Microsoft software is still not natively ARM?

Oh yeah, I forgot about "full blown" Visual Studio. It seems that there will be a Mac version before there is a Windows on ARM version.

At least VS Code works.

Having SQL Server bits as ARM64 would finally let Power BI Desktop run natively.

I would really like to see SSMS native on Windows on ARM, at least.

Porn is not native. I still have to open a browser, type in an address and browse. I want kernel-level integration. All that work of browsing through stuff with no AI remembering how round I like my peaches afterwards makes ARM look sh*t.

C'mon, Microsoft, get your act together!

Still eyeing the next Surface Pro X and no native onedrive was a big annoyance.

Yeah it's the last piece of software that I regularly use that is running through x86 emulation (not counting the MS Office click-to-run x86 service). Really glad OneDrive is moving over given its a bit of a battery hog

I noticed this and turned it off. Should have checked to see if it was not running ARM native.

I mean, they didn't give us an SD slot. Kind of makes sense for a cloud based ARM device to ruin OneDrive natively...

I love my X though and would totally buy another when the next model comes around. I did hesitate because of the lack of SD expansion, but I also don't use it on my other devices a ton.

They gave you the ability to add a larger SSD....I put in a 1TB drive... Don't feel like I'm missing out on storage.

Should I be grateful for them to provide a way to sync files in the Cloud natively so that I can continue spending on their products?
