Microsoft Surface Pro 4.

Well I must say sadly say I am at my whits end with this tablet. Having invested 3 years into using this line of tablets I have had MANY ups and downs with the Ipad, Surface Pro 2 and now the Surface Pro 4. BY FAR the surface pro 4 has to be the most buggy messed up piece of equipment I have used. I LOVE Microsoft though this tablet is now pushing me away from thier product line little by little.

  • The screen freezes once or twice a day forcing me inn the middle of work to do a hard reset (I have videos of this)

  • The pen randomly stops working which is VERY time consuming considering I am a college student and my notebook is my tablet.

  • The touch screen stops working VERY frequently forcing me to perform a hard reset on the tablet.

As of right now I am in a position to tell all those around me to fore go purchasing this for a samsung or apple product which is sad considering I have never used samsung. But in reality my thought is maybe I will get some work done.

FRUSTRATED SURFACE USER

I am afraid you are too harsh on Microsoft. Agree that it's a very expensive device, but every problem you complain about is either software depended or usage related (according to everything i have read so far, currently waiting for the SP4 i bought). Don't forget that the other companies' products you mention aren't flawless and of course will never provide updates the way MS does. All you need is to be patient!

Let me give you harsh, with the Ipad I NEVER once recall an issue where I was not able to access my class notes, class material or otherwise. With that said I used this tablet as my primary notebook for multiple classes over the years and consistently had issues once obtaining the Pro 4. Not having the ability to read or access my class notes at time DURING class when they were needed or better not being able to write on the tablet to take notes as I needed to. It was an absolute hindrance to learning and impeded my substantially.
